 Importance Of Social Media

    Social media is something that people use every day. It is a web-based application that promotes the exchange and creation of content that users generate. Everywhere you go, there is always someone on their phone or making content for their page. 

    Social media provides a place for so much creativity. You can even use the platform to expand your social network and connect with people all over the world. Businesses will use social media to promote their brands, market a campaign, or engage with customers. There is so much you can do with social media. Nowadays, social media connects everyone together as well. Personally, I have done so much through social media, from finding a job, posting pictures of a fun weekend that I had, to meeting new gaming friends. 

    There are some negative sides to social media, such as cyberbullying, doxxing, and addiction. If you take precautions to avoid these negative sides, then you shouldn't have to worry about them. I personally still have to work on the addiction part of social media. I tend to be slightly addicted to social media because it is how I find out about what is going on in the world or what is going on with friends and family. 

    In conclusion, Social media is very important in today's world. It brings everyone together and allows you to become as creative as you want to be.

 Audience Awareness          Something that is overlooked by writers is audience awareness. This is when you are able to imagine an audience and put yourself in their place. Then you anticipate the needs of that audience and meet those needs.     You need to see yourself through the eyes of the audience when you write. Make sure that you are using "you" over "I". This will let the audience know that you are focused on them. You want to make sure that you are knowledgeable about the topic and think of different ways to make it interesting for the audience.      Another thing that you need to be aware of is that the introduction needs to draw the audience in.
